PRESIDENT BERSET HEADS BACK HOME AFTER A THREE DAY STATE VISIT IN BOTSWANA

His Excellency the President of the Republic of Botswana Dr. Mokgweetsi Eric Keabetswe Masisi and His Excellency President of the Swiss Confederation, Alain Berset addressed a joint media conference this afternoon.

Their addresses highlighted the activities undertaken during the State Visit. A letter of intent was signed between the two Countries and cemented relations in terms of what each Country stands to benefit from each other.

Botswana and Switzerland have common features in the sense that they are both landlocked countries, committed to democracy, the rule of law and have strong cultural roots.
