DREAMS Programme Continues to Impact Lives

On Thursday USAID – US Agency for International Development visited our Kgatleng district . The team started off at the Mochudi District Health Management Team (DHMT) where they interacted with the team and learned of how they support the DREAMS programme. The USAID team visited few clinics in Kgatleng to appreciate their work and afterwards they visited our Centre where they had the opportunity to observe through a role play how we enrol Adolescent Girls And Young Women (AGYW’s) into the DREAMS programme. Our mentees also shared how the programme have been beneficial to their lives as some managed to find jobs and open businesses due to the skills they acquired from the programme. The visit continued to Gaborone and on Friday Stepping Stones International and other DREAMS implementing partners and supporting partners gathered at Hope Worldwide Botswana where USAID team appreciated the success stories from the programme in Gaborone District. The highlight of the visit was the performance by one of the mentees from the programme who managed to release an album where she had the opportunity to sing some of her songs to the visitors.
