They say grass is always greener on the other side, the saying seems to be true, with regards to Botswana born power couple the Fergusons. Connie and Shona Ferguson have done it again with their latest offering, becoming a fan favourite on its first night. Ferguson Films and Mzansi Magic’s latest dramaβ iGaziβ instantly became one of the most talked about shows in the country.
The dramaβ which focuses on a Xhosa royal familyβ was an instant hit among fans who took to social media to tweet their approval and share some of their favourite moments from the show.Β Breathing life into the characters is a star-studded cast which includes veteran actress Nomhle Nkonyeni, Jet Novuka, Allen Booi, Peter Sephuma, Zandile Msutwana, Thami Mngqolo, Anga Makubalo, Charmaine Mtinta, Zikhona Sodlaka, Zenande Mfenyane, Vatiswa Ndara, Mnatha Vika and Talitha Ndima
TheyΒ started their own production company together, executive produced and starred in the drama Rockville for M-Net’s Mzansi Magic (DStv 161) as well as The Wild. The areΒ nowΒ branching out with new Mzansi Magic drama Igazi.Β The series was launched on SundayΒ 10 April at 20:00 on Mzansi Magic (161).
