Nico Matlala Claims He Is Trying To Fix Things With Lebo

Businessman Nico Matlala and Lebohang Mabe’s relationship has been making the headlines ever since Nico started feeding social media videos of him and Lebo together, and as cute as that might sound, it was never the rosy parts of the relationship that were documented but Nico says he wants to start all over again.

According to reports found on DailySun Nico Matlala who spent the weekend in a police holding cell from last Thursday for reportedly assaulting girlfriend Lebohang Mabe at their home in Midrand, spoke to the publication and expressed regret about the incident.

“I have realised my mistakes. Both of us were acting childishly and allowed our emotions to take over. I am trying to fix things between me and Lebo.”

Being locked up in a police holding cell for just a weekend seems to have changed Nico’s perspective on life.

Even after Nico’s apology on the ‘gram, he still felt the need to apologise to Lebo’s family for the drama the couple caused.

“I want to send my family to apologise to the Mabes…I also want to apologise to the public…seeing adults behaving the way we did was not okay.”

Nico Matlala was released on R1000 bail on condition that he didn’t contact Lebo during the trial, whilst Lebo who was arrested for damage to property was released on Sunday and appeared in court on Monday after Nico withdrew the charges.
