Choppies To Award Rio Olympic Gold Medalists With P 1000 000.00
Yesterday was one of the special day for sport, athletes and Batswana in general. Sports is finally getting the recognition it deserves. TheΒ Permanent Secretary in The Ministry of Youth, Sport and Culture was yesterday at the launch of the Choppies Rio Olympics incentive sponsorship.
Prizes
1. Gold medal P 1000 000.00.
2. Silver P 500 000.00
3. Bronze P 250 000.00
4. Reaching finals P 75 000.
The good thing is that this will also apply to para Olympics. The private sector has stepped it up to show that the Government can’t do it alone. We salute Choppies forΒ being Β a shinning example to other companies out there.Β With such incentives, we do hope for many medals.
