TSOGWANE COMMENDS CHARITY ORGANISATIONS
Vice President Mr Slumber Tsogwane has expressed gratitude towards business people who are members of charity organisations.Speaking at a handover ceremony of blankets by Boitumelo Foundation at Office of the President Gardens this afternoon, Mr Tsogwane said, βthis gesture goes a long way to show the love for our fellow citizens.
βThe Foundation donated 1300 blankets valued at over P150 000 to be used by Botswana Prison Service and 20 000 medical masks valued at over P400 000 were donated towards COVID-19 Fund.Boitumelo foundation was founded in 2016 by Mr. Ramachandran Ottapathu. One of the Executive members of the foundation Ms Matshidiso Masire said they have been donating across Botswana with a focus on health and educational services.βNext month joined by some of our partners such as Kamoso Distributers, we will donate goods valued at over half a million pula to various communitiesβ Ms Masire said.
