Vacancy-Sales Executive Wanted At Kwena Rocla

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Investigating market requirements, needs and trends through personal visits to external organizations
• Inspecting all media publications to keep abreast of developments and trends in the industry
• Promoting Rocla products and their use
• Plan, organize and control Factory tours and promotional seminars
• Seek new markets for existing and new products
• Record keeping for competitor activity and price reviewing if necessary
• Update existing marketing and project data and present to Regional Sales manager
• Reviewing of contract requirements in regard to:

1. Manufacturing facilities
2. Design Reviews
3. Specials and alternative products and
4. Cost Products (factory variable, transport etc)

• Attend site inspections to make contact with all stakeholders
• Make appointments with all major contractors in regard to suppliers preference, product preference, rate of supply, cash flow and credit requirements
• Discuss with client tender results to determine likely awards
• Price and issue of quotations
• Agree final terms of supply with successful contractor, close the sale and secure the order

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

• Matric plus an appropriate marketing and sales qualification OR relevant Technical background will be an advantage
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good administrative skills
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Computer literate (Excel, PowerPoint etc)
• Membership to any World Recognizable Professional Institution will be an advantage

Suitable candidates must have:

• At least 5 years experience either with Contractors or Consultants in Civil Engineering/Concrete Construction Industry
• Proven track record of previous internal sales control experience and budget achievement
• Knowledge to read tender documents and quantify products required

Possession of a valid driver’s license and own vehicle

Salary is market related depending on qualifications and experience
