𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄

The public is informed of the appointments, transfers and job position re-designation that have been effected in the public service.

i. Mr Thato Yaone Raphaka has been appointed as Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Tourism;

ii. Mr Christopher B. Molomo has been appointed Commissioner General, National Planning Commission, Ministry for State President;

iii. Ms Christophine O. Ofentse has been appointed on promotion as Deputy Secretary for International and Commercial Services in the Attorney General’s Chambers;

iv. Advocate Linchwe Tlhowe has been appointed as Parliamentary Counsel in the Attorney General’s Chambers;

v. Mr Lamerck Nthekela has been seconded to Botswana Agricultural Marketing Board (BAMB) as Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Agriculture from Ministry of Entrepreneurship.

vi. Mr Isaac Moepeng has been transferred from the Ministry of Transport and Public Works to the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development as Deputy Permanent Secretary – Development;

vii. Ms Baleseng Hikwama has been transferred from the Ministry of Transport and Public Works to the Ministry of Minerals and Energy as Deputy Permanent Secretary, Corporate Services;

viii. Ms Selinah A. Mogojwa has been transferred from the Ministry of Minerals and Energy to the Ministry of Environment and Tourism as Director – Department of Environmental Affairs;

ix. Ms Belinah Baker has been transferred from Botswana Public Service College to the Ministry of Youth, Gender, Sport and Culture as Director – Procurement and Project Management;

x. Ms Keeditse Tema has been transferred from the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime to the Ministry of Minerals and Energy as Manager, Human Resource and Administration;

xi. Ms Malebogo Moilwa has been transferred from the Ministry of Minerals and Energy to the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime, Ministry for State President as Manager, Human Resource and Administration;

xii. Mr Edwin G. Batsalelwang has been transferred from the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime to the Attorney General’s Chambers as Assistant Secretary – Legislative Drafting;

xiii. Mr Stephen Motlogelwa has been transferred from Selibe Phikwe Town Council to Francistown City Council as Town Clerk;

xiv. Mr Lopang Pule has been transferred from Francistown City Council to Gaborone City Council as Town Clerk;

xv. Mr Montshwariemang Matseka has been transferred from North East District Council to Selibe Phikwe Town Council as Town Clerk;

xvi. Mr Israel Lebuile has been transferred from Gaborone City Council to North East District Council as Council Secretary;

xvii. Mr Cosmos Sewagodimo has been transferred from Central District Council to Francistown City Council within the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development as Deputy Town Clerk;

xviii. Ms Matshwenyego Matlapeng has been transferred from the Directorate of Public Service Management (DPSM) to the Ministry for State President (Ministry Management) as Manager, Human Resource Management and Administration;

xix. Mr Phologo J. Gaumakwe has been re-designated as Deputy Senior Private Secretary to His Excellency the President in the Office of the President, Ministry for State President;

xx. Mr Peter Mika has been deployed from Land Information Centre to the Department of Surveys and Mapping in the Ministry of Lands and Water Affairs as Deputy Director; and

xxi. Mr Abednico Maphuru has been deployed from the Department of Surveys and Mapping to Land Information Centre in the Ministry of Lands and Water Affairs as the Deputy Coordinator.
