Lecco’s 999 Record Deal Becomes Fruitful!

They say grass is always greener on the other side, This has been the case with former local music promoter Lekopanye ‘Lecco’ Kenosi of Leccotainment Promotions Company. The musician has now expanded his wings to nearby South Africa, where he has signed with Arthur Mafokate’s 999 records. His much anticipated album, Carol is now out under Arthur’s stable.

Lecco has recorded a 10 track album with 999, which is a mixture of kwaito and house. Lecco and Arthur come a long way, he has worked with 999 records before, as he was its music distributor, ambassador and show planner in Botswana since 1997. Arthur has been luring him to sign, but he waited until he was ready to commit himself.

The album will give this man more exposure locally, and he will earn a new deserved fan base in South Africa. The deal was sealed in October 2015 after the Waar Was Jy kwaito festival event where Mafokate was performing. All the best Lecco, hard work and determination pays.
