The acting President of the Republic of Botswana, His Honour Mr Slumber Tsogwane yesterday visited the accident scene where seven (7) South African citizens perished this past Sunday 28 April 2024 when their vehicle collided with another by Ranaka Junction.

The Acting President consoled the South African nation and the Father Masango St John’s Apostolic Faith Mission Church congregation for their loss and assured them of their unwavering support.

The Father Masango St John’s Apostolic Faith Misson Church delegation from both South Africa and Botswana expressed their sincere gratitude for the support they received from the Government of Botswana since the day of the accident.

All the deceased bodies have been identified by families and church members, one survivor has been discharged from the hospital and the rest are currently being attended at different hospitals where their conditions remain stable.
