President Duma Boko is back in Botswana following his attendance at the 2025 US-Africa Business Summit held in Luanda, Angola. The high-profile event, themed “Pathways to Prosperity,” brought together African Heads of State, senior U.S. government officials, and leading figures from the business world.

During the summit, President Boko had a key bilateral meeting with Angolan President João Lourenço. Their discussions focused on strengthening diplomatic ties and exploring opportunities for trade and economic collaboration between Botswana and Angola.

President Boko also participated in several panel discussions and sessions aimed at boosting Africa-U.S. trade relations, fostering innovation, and promoting inclusive economic growth across the continent. The summit served as a platform for Botswana to showcase its investment potential and its commitment to regional economic development.

Ministers and senior government officials from Botswana, who accompanied President Boko to the summit, took part in stakeholder engagements and networking sessions with international investors.
