Kabo Leburu unfreeze, performance set for Saturday
Kabo Leburu breaks free from the cold that has been keeping him away from the guitar. The guitarist and singer will be performing this Saturday at Alliance Francaise in Gaborone. The event dubbed Accoustical sessions with Kabo Leburu is one of the many events that are to follow. He will be sharing the stage with a number of other musician who will be revealed this week.
Kabo Leburu is an artist from Botswana who fuses indigenous rhythms with a touch of jazz and classically inspired finger-picking to come up with a unique ground breaking sound.He has shared the stage with some of the greatest musicians this side of the equator; Yvonne Chaka-Chaka, Louis Mhlanga, Paul Hanmer, Socca Moruakgomo among others. Kabo Leburu released his debut album โFootstepsโ in October 2008.
