Minister of Education and Skills Development met the winner of Miss Junior Idol World

The Honourable Minister of Education and Skills Development, Dr Douglas Letsholathebe met with the winner of Miss Junior Idol World, a nine (9) year old Ms Kimberly Matheakgomo this morning. The young Matheakgomo won the World title which was recently held in Thailand on the 13th June 2022.
The Honourable minister said he was proud of Kimberley and her achievements. He reminded that, whatever her achievements she must never forget her studies and encouraged her to study hard and also when going around emphasise on the importance of education to her peers especially early childhood where she also discovered her talent.
Hon Minister further advised her to believe in herself, be her own person and never put herself under pressure nor allow anyone to do so.
For her part Kimberly said she started her journey a tender age of 5years and is inspired by Katlego Matheakgomo. She further added that to balance her school work with her modelling passion she goes for back to back tutoring. Her motto is β€œdo not let anyone decide your future for you, anything is possible”.
His Uncle, Mr K. Ramasu said his niece has been actively involved with modelling and pageants from when she 5years old and have never looked back from something she is very passionate about.
Kimberley was accompanied by her parents, Mr and Mrs Matheakgomo.
