Queen Ivie Atuwatse III Leads Africa’s Visionary Dialogue in Botswana at Elevate Africa 2025

The Queen of the Warri Kingdom, Olori Ivie Atuwatse III, is in Botswana for the Elevate Africa 2025 Convening, taking place on October 30 and 31 at the Royal Aria in Tlokweng under the theme “Africa: The Next Chapter.” The gathering brings together distinguished African and global leaders committed to shaping the continent’s future through innovation, leadership, and sustainable development.

Ahead of the convening, Queen Ivie Atuwatse III hosted a press conference in Gaborone, where she expressed deep appreciation for Botswana’s leadership, stability, and cultural richness. She praised the nation as a shining example of African excellence in governance, sustainable growth, investment, and policy direction.

“Botswana is one of Africa’s best-kept secrets. We want to spotlight the incredible work being done here and showcase Africa’s next chapter as intentional, brilliant, and collaborative,” she said.

The Queen engaged with influential partners and thought leaders, including Her Excellency Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, former President of Mauritius; Tim Hanstand; Ron Chari; Wei Neng Wu; Hon. Taa Wongbe; Vuyelwa Nyakaza; and Rtn. Ogwal Joseph. The discussions focused on aligning leadership across borders, strengthening institutions, and accelerating Africa’s transformation through collaboration and innovation.

“Our discussions reinforced a shared vision — to position Africa as a global partner in innovation, policy development, and sustainable growth,” Queen Ivie stated.

The Elevate Africa Convening serves as a high-level platform to advance dialogue on entrepreneurship, governance, women empowerment, and technology. The event features keynote sessions, policy roundtables, and strategic networking designed to inspire collaboration and practical solutions for Africa’s most pressing challenges.
