Hundreds of young people gathered at Pylon Park near Airport Junction on Saturday for a powerful evening of worship, prayer and spiritual encouragement during the Worship in Garden event. The gathering brought together worshippers from different church denominations who united through music, preaching and gospel performances focused on faith, healing and purpose. The event created a space where young people could reflect on their personal struggles while strengthening their relationship with God. Speakers and gospel performers delivered messages centered on hope, transformation and perseverance through difficult seasons of life. The atmosphere throughout the evening reflected a strong sense of unity and spiritual renewal as attendees responded to messages encouraging them to remain faithful despite challenges.

Speaking during the event, Mmoloki Mogokgwane of Arukah House of Restoration encouraged young people not to lose sight of their purpose in God even when facing pain, rejection and personal struggles. He addressed the emotional and spiritual battles many young people experience in their daily lives, including disappointment, loneliness and uncertainty about the future. Pastor Mogokgwane emphasized that difficult experiences should not cause young people to abandon their faith or forget the plans God has for their lives. His message resonated strongly with many attendees who continue to face social pressures, unemployment, relationship challenges and mental struggles. He reminded worshippers that pain can become part of a greater testimony when people remain connected to God during difficult moments.

South African pastor and musician Kabelo Mabalane also shared a message focused on spiritual transformation and faith in Jesus Christ. Speaking to the large crowd, he urged worshippers to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus regardless of the distractions and hardships they encounter. Kabelo Mabalane explained that true transformation cannot be found in material success, popularity or temporary solutions, but through a genuine relationship with Christ. His testimony and message carried significant weight because of his own public journey from fame and personal struggles to spiritual growth and ministry. Many young attendees connected deeply with his encouragement to pursue purpose, discipline and healing through faith rather than seeking validation from worldly pressures.

The night of worship was led by Hannah Van Rooyen of Christian Revival Church, who guided worshippers through moments of prayer, praise and reflection. The event featured energetic worship sessions that created an uplifting environment for spiritual connection and emotional healing. Young people from different backgrounds gathered in large numbers, showing the growing demand for faith-based youth events that address real-life struggles while promoting hope and positive values. Many attendees participated actively in worship sessions, prayers and gospel performances that lasted throughout the evening. The strong turnout also highlighted the important role churches and faith-based initiatives continue to play in supporting young people within communities.

Founded by broadcaster and DJ Kellz Kealeboga Gaelebale, the Worship in Garden event has become a platform that combines music, ministry and youth empowerment. The event featured South African preacher Rorisang Thandekiso alongside local gospel artists, Christian poets and rap performers who used their talents to inspire and uplift attendees. The combination of preaching, worship music, spoken word and gospel rap created a diverse and engaging experience that appealed to many young people. Christian creatives and performers used the platform to share messages about faith, identity, perseverance and spiritual growth. Events like Worship in Garden continue to demonstrate how gospel music and youth ministry can work together to create positive spaces for encouragement and community building.

The gathering at Pylon Park reflected a broader movement among churches and faith leaders to reach young people with messages of hope and spiritual guidance during difficult times.
