His Excellency Dr.Mokgweetsi E.K.Masisi has arrived in Livingstone, Zambia, on a two day working visit which starts from 26th March to 27th March 2024. President Masisi drove himself through the Zambian border after being recieved by His Excellency Mr.Hakainde Hichelema President of the Republic of Zambia.

President Masisi drove a Grenadier 4×4 from Kazungula border to Livingstone, Zambia where meetings will commence.

This follows a working visit to Botswana by President Hakainde Hichelema, his Cabinet and Senior Government Officials in January 2024 at the invitation of His Excellency Dr.Mokgweetsi E.K.Masisi.

It is expected that during the visit the two Heads of State and Government officials will hold Official talks on issues of mutual interest and enhanced bilateral cooperation.

Part of the communique that followed the working visit held in January 2024 pronounced that the two Heads of State agreed to further strengthen bilateral co-operation by launching an enhanced programme of cooperation within two months in Livingstone, Zambia, covering the areas of:

i. Transport
ii. Mining and Mineral Value Addition;
iii. Agriculture and Livestock;
iv. Trade and Investment;
v. Immigration;
vi. Entrepreneurship;
vii. Tourism
viii. Energy
ix. Health

President Masisi is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs,Defence and Security,Transport and Public Works, Agriculture, Labour and Home Affairs, Health , Minerals and Energy, Trade and Industry,Communications Knowledge and Technology as well as, Senior Government Officials.
