The African Women Leadership Academy Opens Registration For WIGD

The African Women Leadership Academy (TAWLA) is pleased to announce that the Women Inter-generational Dialogue (WIGD) initiative has opened registration for the Francistown Regional Women Inter-generational Dialogue, to be held on the 10th December 2015.

The WIGD is a partnership between Putting Women First Trust (PWTF),Sir Ketumile Masire Foundation (SKMF), The African Women Leadership Academy (TAWLA) and Young Women Leadership Club (YWLC) sponsored by UNFPA. Which seeks to bring together 30 older women and 70 younger women, in efforts to reinvigorate the women’s movement in Botswana as well as determine and discuss the nature and magnitude of the divide between issues regarding the older and younger, women’s demographic.

Participants:

~must be female aged 18 and above,
~must be resident in and around the Francistown area,
~should and must be able to attend the event on the 10th December 2015,
~be able to engage in meaningful discussions on women’s issues.

All successful participants will be receive a response by or on the 8th December.
