Vice President Ndaba Gaolathe, who also serves as Minister of Finance, announced that the call for ideas under the Botswana Economic Transformation Programme (BETP) has generated 3,500 submissions so far.
Speaking at the official launch of the BETP lab in Gaborone, Mr Gaolathe described the response as a strong sign of creativity and ambition from Batswana and international partners.
He further announced an extension for submitting project ideas to August 17. The initiative started on July 1 with a diagnostic phase, inviting bold and transformative proposals from the public.
