Acting Minister of Lands and Agriculture Dr Edwin Dikoloti officially launched the A-DI-TSALE program yesterday at Kalalomabele Farms. The launch event was hosted by the Ministry of Lands and Agriculture in partnership with the Kotsukelela Farmers Cluster.

During the event, Dr Dikoloti encouraged farmers to explore diverse farming methods to achieve higher productivity and improved results. He emphasized that innovation and collaboration among farmers are key to maximizing the benefits of agricultural programs.

The A-DI-TSALE program is designed to provide comprehensive livestock health and reproductive services. It offers support for disease prevention, vaccination, breeding management, and other essential livestock care practices. The program is expected to enhance the quality and productivity of livestock, ensuring that farmers can maintain healthier herds.

Dr Dikoloti also stressed the importance of forming and expanding farmer clusters. He explained that clusters would enable more farmers to access the program’s services efficiently and implement best practices collectively. Farmers working in clusters can share knowledge, resources, and support, which strengthens the overall impact of the program.

Officials described the program as a tool with both social and economic potential. Beyond improving livestock health, it is expected to contribute to increasing the national cattle herd, boosting agricultural productivity, and enhancing the livelihoods of farming communities.

The A-DI-TSALE initiative represents a strategic effort to modernize livestock farming, encourage sustainable practices, and create long-term growth in the agricultural sector. Farmers are encouraged to participate actively in the program to take advantage of its health services and reproductive support to expand their herds and improve productivity.
