A Funeral Fund Set Up To Help Bring The Body Of Thato Ntapu Home From Canada
On a sad note, there is a situation where one young Motswana lady, Thato Ntapu passed away in Canada and her body repatriation process needs funds. Thato Ntapu was born in June 2, 1989 and passed away January 30, 2017 in Toronto. AΒ memorial fund has been set up to help with the cost of repatriating her body back to her family here in Botswana.
The cause of death has not been revealed, but there are some reports that she was found dead in her apartment. She is not eligible to get help from the embassy as it only cover their staff and students. The rest of the people get a loan if approved. Transportation of the body can amount to P200 000. The fund will also cover other financial challenges the family may face during this time.
