Applications For MYSC Grant Withdrawn
The Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development (MYSC) wishes to inform the public that the recent call for applications for the MYSC Grant has been withdrawn with immediate effect until further notice. Interested and eligible organizations, companies and individuals are advised to await further update. The Ministry apologizes for any inconvenience this change might have caused.
TheΒ MYSC Grant is an empowerment program aimed at promoting active participation of youth in the socio-economic development of the country. It has the following objectives;
1. To encourage the out-of-school, marginalized and unemployed youth to venture into sustainable and viable income generating projects.
2. To promote the development of competitive, sustainable and growth oriented citizen owned youth enterprises.
3. To reduce rural-urban migration by making it attractive to start growth orientated enterprises at rural areas.
4. To create sustainable employment opportunities for young people through the development of sustainable projects.
