Deputy President Ndaba Nkosinathi Gaolathe has called for urgent action to address complaints from Batswana regarding the land allocation department. Speaking at a kgotla meeting in Tsau, he noted that most residents had expressed frustration over delays in land allocation during previous kgotla sessions.

Deputy President Gaolathe emphasised that the new government must prioritise resolving these issues to ensure citizens receive land in a timely manner. He acknowledged that land access remains a critical concern for communities and called for immediate measures to streamline the allocation process.

Residents of Tsau raised concerns about delays in their land applications, noting that many had been waiting for extended periods without receiving responses. They also highlighted the poor condition of roads leading to their village, which affects mobility and access to essential services.

The Deputy President assured residents that their concerns would be addressed and urged government departments to work efficiently to improve service delivery. His visit reflects the government’s commitment to responding directly to community needs and ensuring that local development challenges, such as land access and infrastructure, are given priority.

The Tsau meeting underlined the importance of continued engagement between government officials and local communities, aiming to create solutions that improve both land allocation processes and rural infrastructure.
