Overview Of Role

Respond to and resolve incidents involving Information Systems, IT equipment and users to enable them to effectively use such systems and equipment in support of agreed IT service level agreements.

Job Description

  • Provide user support
  • Provide technical support to the Fund computer systems in place
  • Configure and deploy IT equipment
  • Installs, maintain, troubleshoot and update software and ensure that all software’s are licensed
  • Monitor IT systems to ensure system functionality and availability to all users
  • Ensures antivirus functionality and apply repairs as required to ensure that user computers are updated as required
  • Maintain inventory of computer equipment, software and computer consumables
  • Assist with the preparation of operating budgets based on estimated ICT expenditure and support needs

Requirements, Education and Experience

  • Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
  • IT Professional Certification and ITIL knowledge will be an added advantage
  • 3 years’ work experience in technical support environment and knowledge of help desk systems and procedures
  • Valid Botswana light duty driver’s license
