Jwaneng Mayor, Mr Ronica Ntsimako, led three teams this morning in conducting the Mayor’s Candle Light prayer sessions across local schools. The initiative spans two days and targets candidates preparing for Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE) and Junior Certificate Examinations (JCE).

The sessions aim to motivate learners through prayer and words of encouragement, helping them approach their exams with confidence and focus. Mayor Ntsimako visited Kgosi Mpe Junior Secondary School, addressing Form three learners directly. He urged them to remain confident and give their best, despite any challenges they may face.

A total of 402 learners are expected to sit for the JCE at Kgosi Mpe and Morama Junior Secondary Schools. The sessions are part of a broader effort to support students’ emotional and spiritual well-being during critical examination periods.

The Mayor emphasized that belief in oneself, combined with preparation, can help learners overcome obstacles and achieve positive results. School officials expressed gratitude for the initiative, noting that the sessions boost morale and reinforce the importance of education.

Through the Mayor’s Candle Light prayer sessions, the Jwaneng leadership seeks to create a supportive environment that encourages academic excellence and resilience among young learners.
