Lerato Ragontse Puts Botswana On The Map Through Dance
14 year old Lerato Ragontse who is based in Baltimore in the US with her family, is making a name for herself abroad as a ballet dancer of note. Ballet dancing is not big with our nation, but the young girl has risen against the odds and is on her way to become the best among the rest.
Lerato, who dances competitively in America won a scholarship for ballet, competing at NYCDA (New York city dance alliance) and placed well in several other competitions in her solos and group performances.
Lerato Ragontse a member ofΒ Mid-Atlantic Center for the Performing Arts, MDΒ was recently mentioned on ivvivas Instagram (a nationally known girls athletic wear retail store in Baltimore).
