Lizibo Opens Up About His Mistaken Identity Experience

Nfana wa Style Lizibo is not a very happy man about the reports that have been circulating on social media about him being involved in a case of mistaken identity.

He took to social media to say that people should not believe everything they read, not that we understand what the fuss is all about that got him so worked up, it’s not like anyone accused him of drug dealing or any kind of mischief. The PaparazziΒ  reports that circulated only claimedΒ  that he was stopped by cops in a case of mistaken identity and it is not surprising that the story was sensationalised but it meant no harm,Β  but still the man is not very happy.

He said that he is distancing himself from the story and that the police never raided him, adding that he is a role model to many young people and always carries himself in a respectable manner.

“Good evening…

I would like to renounce the story that the police and the sniffer Dog raided me.It is utter rubbish and distance myself from such.I was never suspected nor searched by any law enforcement . However I was stoped by the CID in a case of mistaken identity with regards to the car I am driving Black Gti which they were looking for an identical motor vehicle only to realise that there were tricked and the culprits were actually in the car behind me in a silver honda Fit who then we’re quickly arrested and taken into custody.

Then then even asked me to assist as an independent witness and help them by observing them as they search the car and then proceeded to help them in writing a statement to further assist them with the case …

Lastly I have never indicated that I will be to sue the police as I LIZIBO BW am in full support and in full cooperative mode to assist the police clean up our streets as we are well aware of the growing concern of drug use in our country.

I believe I am a role model to many young and old Batswana and have always carried myself in a manner I find acceptable not regrettable so to all those that support my music(public, cooperate)and parents out there, this was an issue of mistaken identity and i was never suspected, searched nor charged infact assisted the police as such i deeply apologise for such an incident and hope this puts all your worries to rest.
