MC Maswe Dedicates An Apology Song To KingBee In New Album
You remember that altercation between Flava Dome presenter and MC Loungo King bee Pitse and musician MC Maswe two months ago at the Toropo Ya Muka music festival.
Well the singer MC Maswe has released a new album and one of the song is an apology to KingBee and stakeholders of the annual Ghetto based music festival. The song titled I’m sorry is aΒ Β hip hop/motswako song with a reggae hook-up.
In the song, candidly apologises to King B, Toropo ya Muka, its organisers and the nation. In his lyrics he mentions that although he lost his cool at the wrong platform his actions have always been dedicated to the growth of the music industry.
He said he has learnt from his mistakes, but he is and will remain an outspoken personality who will not shy away from righting the wrong.
In the three-minute, 12 seconds track he dedicated the entire first hip hop/motswako stanza to King B. ββ¦Shout out to my nigg** King B, no love lost still brother no beef, I just wanna dedicate this track to you, after what happened between I and You, ka thaloganya go bothokonyana mare go tla siama, I didnβt mean to hurt you boy, even though batho ba re ga ke a siama, we still brothers man letβs get it together go rene kagiso between us now and foreverβ¦β
The next and last stanza is an apology dedicated to the nation, fans of Toropo ya Muka and the festival organiser, DJ Colastraw. The album that seemingly is more devoted to those who dance is composed of four tracks and four instrumentals.
Maswe threw tantrums at the festival, calling out KingBee and accusing him of ‘tribalism’ after he did not introduce him when it was his turn to perform.
