President Advocate Duma Boko has launched a Public Engagement Platform that allows citizens to report corruption, fraud, and embezzlement involving public sector entities. The platform aims to increase transparency and accountability by enabling the public to share information, knowledge, experience, or evidence of such acts.

The launch comes as Phase 1 of a Forensic Audit has been completed. Phase 2 has begun and focuses on detailed auditing of 30 government entities. This next phase will use information gathered through the platform to deepen investigations.

The Public Engagement Platform will remain open from August 7 to September 15, 2025. President Boko encouraged all citizens to report suspected corruption by submitting evidence either through WhatsApp or written applications.

“Whistle-blowers and anyone coming forward with credible information will be fully protected,” President Boko assured after the launch. This promise aims to encourage safe reporting without fear of retaliation.

The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to tackling corruption and safeguarding public resources. By involving the public directly, the platform strengthens efforts to detect and address misuse of funds for personal gain.
