Public Service Employees To Be Released Early Today

Tomorrow marks the beginning of a long weekend marking Easter celebrations. Government employees are in luck as they work half day today. Director of the Directorate of Public Service Management (DPSM) has circulated a Savingram confirming that permission has been granted to release public service employees traveling to far off places at 12:45 p.m. today.

This is to allow them to travel during the day to their various destinations. Supervisors have been further reminded to ensure that office nonetheless remain staffed to avoid undue disruption of services to the public. In light of so many road accidents that occur during holidays, this will give motorists a chance to travel early and at a safe speed.
