Minimum Qualification
●Diploma in Safety/Risk Management or equivalent
Competencies
●Good communicator (written and verbal )
●Must be able to function in a diverse workforce
●Energetic, Self driven individual with the ability to work independently
Experience
●2 years’ practical experience on safety, health and environment
●knowledge of relevant legislation in a quarrying or mining environment
● Computer literate
●In possession of a valid driver’s license
●Should have facilitation and Auditing skills
Duties
●To manage the operation’s Health, Safety and Environment (SHE) system
●Expedition of Risk Assessment (base line, issues based and continuous ) and indicent investigations
●Maintaining high levels of SHE communication and monitor it’s effectiveness
●Monitor compliance of security requirements and coordinates access control
●schedule and conduct required inspection, audits and assist team in addressing areas of non compliance or deviations
