The pull him/her down syndrome is common in the arts industry, such that some people give up before realizing their dreams. Former My star finalist and singer Kennedy Thal is one young man who was laughed at by some, but now they are eating humble pie as the young man is leaving it up oversees.

“The people that made fun of me for wanting to be a singer have never left my hometown. I’m in the Bahamas having lunch on my off day, working 2 hours or less a day, traveling the world, I don’t pay rent, I eat amazing food for free and this pay check is LIT,” he said. Kennedy admits he is deliberately being obnoxious about this statement because so many people didn’t believe in him and laughed his face .

Because of this, the young man also admits that it went to a point where he didn’t believe in himself either, “I would be exactly where their mindset led them to be; nowhere!!” Apart from all this Kennedy is grateful for his life and his job. In this dog eat dog industry he is one of the fortunate few considering 5 years ago he didn’t even have a degree, let alone a job!! The power of self belief can move mountains.
