Sports awards knocking at our doors

It is that time of the year again when the sporting fraternity throngs a hall to celebrate and give honors for their own. The Botswana National Sports Council awards are right here and are about to be staged. The nominees have not changed much,the same faces and sportspersons in the country are at it again since they have been picked to make the podium finishes at the awards.

Athletics and Karate features most nominees at the sporting awards. The two sporting codes have since been hailed to be the leading and most performing sporting codes in the country after having garnered themselves more medals in the different events that they have performed at. Commonwealth champions Amantle Montsho and Isaac Makwala are some of the nominees for the event.
