Switchboard Operator Wanted At Zwenshambe Brigades

Requirements.

• Form-5/BGCSE
• Certificate in Secretarial Studies OR related field
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be vibrant, self- confident, fluent in both Setswana and English; friendly and have ability to keep confidentiality.

Main Duties.

• Operates switchboard and acts as receptionist
• To promptly receive and send out telephone calls local and international calls and to receive visitors and direct them to the appropriate offices.
• Dialing official and private numbers, recording the number required and the name of the caller in the trunk call register
• Records messages and deliver to concerned officers promptly.
• Prepares internal telephone bills and delivers them to officers concerned at the end of each month for payment and depositing by Bursar at Revenue office.
• Reports non-payers to Assistant Admin Officer for action
• Reports switch board extension lines’faults to Botswana Telecommunication Corporation.
• And performs any other duties as stipulated in the job description

Individuals must be self-motivated and requiring minimal supervision.
