Tsholofelo Rehabilitation Centre is a community based Non-Governmental Organisation based in Serowe that exists to provide rehabilitation and advocacy for children with disabilities in the Central District. They have a vacancy for a teacher aide.Β Ref: TA 09/2016
Main Duties
β’Assist non – ambulatory learners on posture
β’Helps in teaching activities of daily living
β’Provides one on one personal hygiene services to learners with severe disabilities
β’Arranging workaids and equipment used by learners in classrooms
β’Assist in feeding of learners
β’Accompanies the driver when collecting and delivering learners
β’Undertakes any other assignment as directed by management to meet the exigency of duties
Qualifications and Experience
β’Minimum of BGCSE
β’Certificate in childhood development
β’At least 1 year work experience in the same field
β’Working with people with disabilities will be an added advantage
β’Must be of sober habits
