The Bulb World shines Africa

Just recently Ketshephaone Jacob, the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Bulb World made it to African Regional Awards’ listing of hundred (100) Inspiring Individuals in Africa. A few weeks back he got another nomination from The West African Regional Magazine for the QUALITY AWARD in the LED LIGHTING Sector.

Your products are affordable and of superior quality with the latest technology in the energy saving space. THE BULD WORLD has created a niche in the sector, and one of Africa’s success stories. Your distribution networks in Botswana, include in Ngamiland, Ghanzi, Kgalagadi, Central and Southern Districts, as the aim is to create empowerment for the youths. In addition to your plans to enter into the SADC region, with South Africa as first stop, followed by Namibia and Mozambique. This is an indication of the high demand of your products, therefore, this award for QUALITY AWARD IN THE LED LIGHTING SECTOR, is deserving.” Rossette Aliu, Publisher of TWARM praised.

This award is to recognize those businesses that combine outstanding business performances with values and behaviours that sustain and strengthen the human and natural environment in which their business operate. This will include market leadership, high employment rate, corporate social responsibility or community services and financial contribution to the economic development in the country which they operate.

The West African Regional Magazine is firmly committed to highlighting the sub-region with the aim of promoting intra-regional trade and to attract potential investors from all over the world. In the spirit of the above, we have introduced an annual celebration of Business and Political Leaders who have helped to move the sub-region forward.

The awards and networking ceremony are expected to be held on 27th November, 2021, at Radisson Blu & Convention Center, Kigali. The theme will be “PROMOTING FREE MOVEMENT OF PERSONS, GOODS AND SERVICES IN AFRICA”. The event will be held side by side with the African Regional Awards, which is a listing of 100 Inspiring Individuals in Africa.
