The Mares Receive their due

The Botswana Senior Women national team affectionately known as “The Mares” to their throngs of adoring fans were celebrated in a celebrity style awards ceremony to appreciate their outstanding performance at their maiden voyage to the TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2022.

The team was awarded over P1,800,000.00.

The Ministry of Youth, Gender, Sport and Culture would once again like to congratulate THE MARES on their success and wish them luck in their future endeavours.
