TWO BATSWANA RECOVER FROM COVID19

Minister of International Affairs and Cooperation says two Batswana in the diaspora who were recently reported positive of Covid19 have now recovered.

Briefing the media this morning Dow said the two Batswana based in America and Canada respectively recovered from the corona virus.
Dow explained that the two were the only known Batswana nationals residing outside Botswana to have contracted the virus. Minister Dow said her ministry was in constant constant communication with all citizens outside the country through Botswana embassies, and assist where necessary.

She said Botswana was privy to alleged ill treatment of Africans in China thus the Botswana Ambassador in China Bruce Palai continues to engage the Chinese government on the matter and anticipate a resolution soon. She urged Batswana across the world to ensure they adhere to the laws of their host countries as the world tightens measures in the fight against covid19.
