To coordinate and implement activities of Materials Issuing & Receiving, Warehousing and Material Distribution functions.
Team size – The job holder supervises a team of < 15 operatives.
Scope – The job holder supervises one shift or area.
Supervision – The job holder works under close supervision from warehouse manager.

Performs standard administrative data processing tasks (e.g., materials requisitions, time and expense recording, etc.) for the principle.

Performs relatively simple testing and quality assurance tasks.
Safety, Health and Environment

Personally sells standard products and services to customers and/or supervises a team of sales advisors.
Stock Monitoring & Cost Control
Monitors Stock variance, obsolescence and analyzes data as directed using existing systems and protocols.
Client & Customer Management (Internal)
Carries out prescribed internal client management activities and provides support to others by following existing procedures.
Accesses required information for specific purposes using the data management system.
Interacts courteously to maintain a positive client experience.
Uses the internal communications system to access required information for specific purposes.
Leadership and Direction
Provides primary supervision to a team performing routine work.
Provides operational support services and sometimes acts as first-line supervisors of a transactional operations area while using existing systems and protocols.
Supply Chain Management
Performs prescribed supply chain management activities using existing procedures to support others.
A recognized University Diploma or Degree in Material Management, Supply Chain or Equivalent
At least 3 years post qualification in Purchasing Management environment for Diploma Holder and None for Degree Holders.
