PUBLIC RELATIONS AND MARKETING INTERN (2 Year Contract)
Main Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Public Relations and Marketing Communications Manager, the incumbent will work closely with Public Relations and Marketing officers to provide support services towards all public relations, marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility activities of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility, Marketing and Public relations Plans.
β’ Market intelligence and research to identify marketing opportunities for the business and optimize existing platforms to provide value for the business.
β’ Evaluation ,assessment and recommendation of proposal request for sponsorships
β’ Monitoring of existing corporate Social Responsibility undertakings and enhancing value for BoFiNet.
β’ Event management activities.
β’ Internal customer engagements to drive participation in corporate social responsibility and other marketing activities.
β’ Ensuring visibility of BoFiNet brand through development of messaging, article writing for various audiences within the various communications platforms.
β’ Engagement and participation in various communications activities within the organization.
β’ Provision of support to internal customers such as , directing ceremonies, branding
Competencies:
β’ Strong Business acumen.
β’ Knowledge and understanding of media relations space.
β’ Good report writing abilities with excellent presentation skills.
β’ Well organized, structured, multitask and time management proficiency.
β’ Ability to communicate with a wide variety of audiences in various forums ( radio, television , live interviews) including Public Speaking
β’ Creativity and innovativeness in idea generations.
β’ Exhibit a good command of language for both oral and written, grammar, structure, etc.
β’ Ability to conduct research and gather information
β’ Good interpersonal skills – ability to form relationships and engage with internal and external customers.
Academic Qualification and Experience
β’ Bachelorβs Degree in Marketing, Communication and Public Relations or equivalent.
β’ Solid technical knowledge of marketing and advertising principles/ background
β’ Valid driverβs license
