Vacancy : SUPPORT ENGINEER

Job Summary
The candidate will be required to provide first and second line technical support to our customers and to support network maintenance tasks. The candidate should be able to provide technical support to users remotely and onsite as well as provide step by step technical help

Key Responsibilities
●2nd and 3rd line technical support
●Troubleshooting and resolving network related issues from basic to intermediate level complexity
●Support of Trainee Engineers
●Client configurations and Service Activations
●Sales Support (solution design)
●Network maintenance activities

Job Requirements
●Degree in Engineering /Communications/IT or related field and relevant industry certifications (MTCNA,MTCRE or CCNA,CCNP)
●At least 6 months – 1 year experience in a Trainee Engineer position
●Experience in WAN,WLAN and RAN (4G technologies) will be an added advantage

Skills & Abilities
●Deep understanding of IP routing and switching (Protocols and Technologies)
●Good verbal and written communication skills in setswana and english
●Working understanding of SMTP and DNS functionality
●Experience in radio and Microwave transmission technologies
●Work in high pressure environment and under tight deadlines

Remuneration
Remuneration and benefits will be commensurate with experience and certification levels while a comprehensive, performance based package and benefits will be negotiated
