Zebras Drop 17 Places On FIFA Rankings
The local national team, Zebras have dropped down 17 places in the latest FIFA rankings. The Zebras are now at number 138 in the world and 40 in Africa.
On rankings that were released in May, Zebras wasΒ number 121 in the World and 35 in Africa.The national team has not been doing very well on any of its games and last month coach Peter James Butler resigned after the team lost a series of matches. They also played South Africa on Tuesday and lost after SA scored 2 and nil for the Zebras and got eliminated from the COSAFA cup competition.
At the top Β spot of the FIFA rankings is Germany followed by Brazil and Argentina then Portugal on the fourth and Switzerland on the fith spot.
