Countdown: Botswana Human Resource Development Skills Fair & Career Clinics
The annual Botswana Human Resource Development Skills Fair & Career Clinics is to be held at Ditshupo/Boipuso Hall.Β The career clinics will be held from 14 β 18 March 2016 while the actually fair will be from the 16 β 19 march 2016. It is expected to bring together tertiary institutions from the country as well as outside the country form as far as Malaysia, America and others.
In an effort to further help students explore and make informed decisions on intended career paths, Botswana Human Resource Development Council has introduced career clinics in the annual career fair. Career clinics will be proving guidance to students on the programmes of study before the education and training exhibition starts where local and international institutions will be showcasing their programmes to prospective learners.
Note that theyΒ have changed the name of the Botswana Tertiary Education FairΒ toΒ Botswana Human Resource Development Skills Fair and Career Clinics. The mandate of HRDC looks at the whole education pipeline including technical and vocational skills and they needed to be incorporated into the event name.
