Bostwana lifting of sanctions on Zimbabwe tightens bond between two countries

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Lemogang Gaokgakala Kwape says Botswana believes in forging strong bonds of ties with her neighbours. If there are any issues of concern they are handled through the diplomatic channels.

Dr Kwape says Botswana’s call for the lifting of sanctions on Zimbabwe is a demonstration of the country’s will to see her neighbours prosper. He said Botswana and Zimbabwe continue to have mutually beneficial relations and President Dr Mokgweetsi E. K. Masisi’s State visit is in pursuit of this.
