During his address, Minister for State President Hon. Moeti Caesar Mohwasa reaffirmed the government’s commitment to investing in the creative economy. He said the initiative is designed to close the gap between the government and creative professionals. By opening a direct channel for dialogue, artists and industry representatives can share their needs and ideas to help shape the future of the sector.
The open dialogue series, hosted by the Ministry of Sports and Arts, featured several key topics. Discussions covered creative billing, language policy, the digital services bill, and content monetisation. These issues are central to creating a framework that supports innovation, fair compensation, and inclusivity within the creative space.
Hon. Mohwasa stressed the importance of collaboration among government institutions, private businesses, and industry bodies.
