Botswana Television Goes Digital

Botswana Television has revamped its studios in Mass Media Complex. Botswana TV is the national broadcaster that started in 2000 following a 1997 government decision. Ever since it went on air till today, few changes have been made, and the same theme song of 2000 has been gracing our screens much to the disapproval of Batswana.

Department of Broadcasting boss, Mr, Mogomotsi Kaboyamodimo last night was one of the first people to appear on television, reading news bulletins after it was given a face lift. The logo appears youthful and attractive, and it will help bring back the interests of Batswana who were now subscribing to neighbouring countries channels.
