Naomi Ruele Qualifies For Rio Olympics!
She is probably the sports person of the year, Naomi Ruele has done a lot in the few months of this year, than most sports people can ever achieve in a lifetime.Β NaomiΒ became the sole owner of the meet record with her 50 freestyle performance on the 25th of February. Now she has another one in the bag, she has qualified for Rio!
Just last week, Naomi scooped a whooping seven medals, a medal for each competition she entered. On the year, Ruele has finished either first or second in the 50 Free 12 times. She has posted times under 23 seconds four times, including a 22.33 in the prelims of the C-USA Championships and her record-setting time of 22.23 in the finals.
We are optimistic of a first gold medal in swimming. You go girl!
