President Masisi tours SKMTH
President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi , yesterday toured the Sir Ketumile Masire Teaching Hospital (SKMTH) to appreciate the hospital readiness ahead of its phased opening on the 1st of September .
President Masisi said the opening of the hospital will significantly help in reducing the number of patients sent outside the country for medical attention .
Meanwhile President Masisi challenged the hospital management fast track phased transition which is expected to take three years.
He said the hospital must aspire to relate with best health care service providers in the region and globally.
Sir Ketumile Masire Teaching Hospital was recently licensed to operate as a private hospital. It iss expected to open on the 1st September 2022 offering radiology services. The hospital will offer health care services at quaternary level .
