PSP and her deputy undertake countrywide tours to address public service employees
- The Permanent Secretary to the President (PSP), Ms. Emmah A. Peloetletse and the
Deputy Permanent Secretary to the President (DPSP). Ms. Matshidiso D. Bokole, will
undertake a countrywide tour to address and engage with public service employees in
the Districts so as to appreciate their concerns and or challenges they may be
experiencing in their duties/duty stations to promptly and effectively deliver service to
the public.
2. The tour will also accord the PSP and the DPSP an opportunity to apprise Public
service employees on policy pronouncements aimed at advancing the Government development
agenda. The countrywide tour will be in two phases. The first phase of the tour will commence on the 24 August 2022 until 5th September 2022 covering
Gaborone, Maun and Selibe-Phikwe. The PSP and DPSP engagements with Public
Officers will be preceded by engagements with the Trade Unions on the 23″ August
2022 as they are deemed as key stakeholders in this trajectory.
- The dates and venues for the second phase will be announced in due course.
- Please note that subsequent to the aforementioned consultations by the PSP and
DOSP, Permanent Secretaries of Ministries will make further consultations with public
officers in their respective Ministries across Districts.
