Suspension from duty – DCEC director general

The public is informed that the Office of the President has suspended
from duty the Director General Mr. Tymon Katlholo in accordance with

Section 112 of the Constitution of Botswana. The suspension is with
immediate effect.

Mr. Tshepho Pilane, Senior Assistant Director – Intelligence has been

appointed the Acting DCEC Director General with immediate effect until

further notice.
