A busy Private Hospital in Francistown invites applications for the following positions:

1. Anesthesiologist

A post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Anesthesia, with at least five years experience. Registration with the Botswana Health Professions Council is essential.

2. Nephrologist

The requirement is a Specialty in Nephrology, with a minimum of five (5) years experience. The applicant must be registered with the Botswana Health Professions Council.

3. Obstetrician and Gynecologist

A qualification of MRCOG M MED, O.G or equivalent is required,with a minimum of five (5) years post-graduate experience. The applicant must be registered as a specialist in the field with the Botswana Health Professions Council.

4. Urologist

The requirement is a post Graduate Degree in Urology. The applicant must be registered with the Botswana Health Professions Council.

5. Orthopedic Surgeon

A post graduate Degree in Orthopedics and must be registered with the Botswana Health Profession Council is essential

6.General Surgeon

The requirement is a post Graduate Degree in General Surgery. The

applicant must be registered with the Botswana Health Professions Council.

7. Consultant Physician

The requirement is a post Graduate Degree in General Medicine,with at least five years’ experience as a Specialist. The applicant must be registered with the Botswana Health Professions Council.

8. Radiologist

Who will be required to provide efficient and adequate reporting and management of the Radiology Department. A minimum qualification of a specialty Degree in Radiology with at least five years’ experience in a hospital environment is the requirement. Registration with the Botswana Health Profession Council is essential

9. Medical Officer

The requirement is a minimum qualification of a Bachelor of Medicine and/or Surgery (MBChb, MBBS) with at least five years’ experience as a Medical Officer. Registration with the Botswana Health Professions Council is essential.

10. Radiographer

Will be requested to facilitate in the diagnosis by routine and specialized radiological procedures. The job requirement is a minimum qualification of a Diploma in Radiology with at least five years’ experience in a hospital environment. Registration with the Botswana Health Professions Council is essential.

11. Pharmacist

A minimum qualification of B. Pharm and five years of work experience either in a hospital or in retail pharmacy. Registration with the Botswana Health Professions Council is essential.

12. Pharmacy Technician

A minimum qualification of a Diploma in Pharmacy with at least three years’ working experience. Registration with the Botswana Health Professions Council is essential.

13.Laboratory Scientist

A minimum qualification of a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science (BSc-MLS), with at least three years’ working experience in a medical laboratory environment. Registration with the Botswana Health Professions Council is essential.

14.Laboratory Technician

A minimum qualification of a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science,with at least three years working experience in a medical laboratory environment. Registration with the Botswana Health Profession Council is essential.

15. Nursing Manager

The role will require management of all nursing staff. The applicant

must have at least five (5) years of work experience in a private hospital. (Work experience in a supervisory role will be an added advantage). A minimum qualification of a Diploma in General Nursing is required. Registration with the Botswana Nursing Association is essential.

16. Renal Care Manager

The role will require the management of three (3) Dialysis Units.

A minimum qualification of Diploma in General Nursing will be

required. The applicant should have training in Nephrology. (Work

experience in a supervisory role will be an added advantage).

Registration with the Botswana Nursing Council is essential.

17. Nurse Anesthetist

With a minimum qualification of a Diploma in General Nursing and post basic training in Anesthesia, with at least five years’ work experience.Registration with the Botswana Nursing Association is essential.

18. Theatre Nurse

With a minimum qualification of a Diploma in General Nursing and

experience in Theatre Nursing of at least three years’ work experience.Registration with the Botswana Nursing Association is essential.

19. ICU Nurse

With a minimum qualification of a Diploma in General Nursing and post basic training in ICU Nursing, with at least five years’ work experience.Registration with the Botswana Nursing Association is essential.

20. Registered Nurse Midwife

A minimum qualification of a Diploma in General Nursing and Diploma in Midwifery, with at least five years’ work experience as a midwife.Registration with the Botswana Nursing Association is essential.

21. Registered Nurse

With a minimum qualification of Diploma in General Nursing and

experience of at least seven years working experience in hospital

environment. Registration with the Botswana Nursing Association is essential.

22. Bio-Medical Technician

With a minimum qualification of a Certificate of training as a Bio-

Medical Technician with Electronics. A minimum requirement of at least eight years’ experience in a private Hospital.
